About Us

Stress-free property clearing with our dedicated team.

Handled. was born from experiences of loss — the deep, aching need to have someone stand beside you in a time of transition.

We offer more than logistics. We offer space, support, and structure at a time when you're overwhelmed. We help people make decisions when they feel too heavy to carry alone. Whether it's an inherited home, downsizing, or a new chapter ahead, our mission is simple: to help you clear out, catalogue, and move forward — with respect, dignity, and care.

Because we know firsthand what it means to just wish someone could get it Handled.

Our Story

It began with a loss.

When my mother passed away suddenly, I was living abroad in the United States; far from her home, far from the day-to-day details of her life, and utterly unprepared for the emotional and logistical weight that followed.

She was a gifted artist. A passionate collector. And, like many creatives, she held onto things; paints, brushes, books, textiles, antique furniture, memories wrapped in every corner of her home. To some, it might have looked like clutter. To me, it was a map of who she was,  and losing her meant that every object became a decision I wasn’t ready to make.

As I was still grieving, I had to figure out what to do with the house she left behind in Greece. It sat there -full, untouched, waiting. And every summer when I came back, instead of relaxing or healing, I found myself knee-deep in emotional decisions: What should I keep? What should I give away? Could I sell this painting? Would someone else treasure this the way she did?It took me almost 3 years to clear the house enough to use it again as a summer home. And even then, I did it piece by piece, with no system, no help, and a heavy heart.

I wished - over and over - that someone could just step in, gently, respectfully, and help me through it.I didn’t need a cleaning service. I needed someone who understood. Someone who could catalogue the precious items, organize what was useful, and help me thoughtfully say goodbye to what no longer served.

That’s why I created Handled.
